Description

Lunar Leonardo is proud to celebrate the historic moon landing of Apollo 11 on July 20, 1969. He's so proud that he's decided to follow in the footsteps of his hero human astronauts and go where no Turtle or man has dared to go - the lunar poles. Why? Because of the temperature shifts in the polar regions of the moon, it may be cold enough there for cheese to exist. And that would translate to out-of-this-world pizza! Do you copy, Gordo? We're talkin' state o' the taste moon pie! If that's not reason enough to explore space, then why bother? Lunar Leonardo's ready to roll out his astro American flag, too, when he makes it to the moon. He's happy to blaze a Turtle trail behind those brave boys before him who marched so willingly into a little galvanized capsule perched atop megatons of fuel, then blasted off to an unexplored rock in space. That's bravery, American style. Once Lunar Leonardo gets to where he's goin', he's got his self-contained environmental pack (SEP) and hero hose to...well, basically, keep him alive! And his no leak, super seal space helmet makes breathing even more possible. And no Turtle would venture into space without following th strategy of those awesome American astronauts before them - avoid eating solid foods and always travel with a trustworthy team. In this case, Lunar Leonardo's in good company: there's Touchdown Donatello, Retro Rocket Raphael and Moon Landin' Michaelangelo. Together, they're out to make history - and celebrate it Turtle style!
